LONR. CROSSES 32 MILLION STREAMS OFF DEBUT SINGLES “A.M.” AND “SAFE ZONE” AFTER WRAPPING TOUR WITH YBN CORDAE

GRAMMY® AWARD-WINNING ARTIST LONR RELEASES NEW SINGLE “MAKE THE MOST” FEATURING H.E.R.

(April 3, 2020 – New York, NY) – Today, rising genre-bursting multi-hyphenate artist Lonr. uncovers his new single “Make the Most” featuring H.E.R. Get it HERE via Epic Records.

The California-born and Cape Cod, MA-raised GRAMMY® Award-winning singer, rapper, songwriter and producer teamed up with The FADER to exclusively premiere the official music video earlier this morning. Watch the video HERE.

In between a tight groove and fluttering guitar, he delivers vulnerable verses before carrying an eternal pledge on the hook, “I wanna grow old with you, make the most with you, that’s the goal. H.E.R. offers a sweetly soulful counterpoint punctuated by delicate emotion. Meanwhile, the visual depicts tender scenes of romance betweenLonr. and a female companion.  However, after of moments of bliss, the story takes a very intense and topical turn…

He tells The FADER that “the idea behind ‘Make the Most’ was simply that we only have one life to live, so with whatever or whoever it is that you love, make sure you make it known…make sure you chase it, because tomorrow isn’t promised.”

Lonr. introduced himself at the end of 2019 with his first-ever single, “A.M. Inspiring the “A.M.” Challenge, the single ignited a flurry of activity on Tik Tok, with over 2 million user-generated videos in a short time span. This phenomenon translated to Spotify where the song soared to the Top 5 of the US Viral Chart and top 10 of the Global Viral Chart, alongside looks on the Most Necessary and Pop Rising playlists. Together with follow-up trackSafe Zone,” Lonr.s music has since tallied over 32 million total streams and counting. Garnering critical praise early on, XXL called him “multifaceted” while Elevator Magazine called him a “star in the making.”HotNewHipHop mirrored those sentiments, calling him a “rising star” and exclaiming that “Safe Zone” “builds on the momentum [of ‘A.M.’].”  Rap-Up may have put it best: “Now music’s secret weapon is stepping into his own.”

He recently concluded a sold-out tour supporting YBN Cordae, entrancing crowds across North America. VEVOalso selected him for its coveted DSCVR program. As part of the initiative, he turned up with cathartic live performances of “A.M.” and “Safe Zone” accompanied by a lone guitarist.

Now, he reveals his debut EP, Land of Nothing Real, set for release on April 242020.

About Lonr.

Emerging from under a quiet shroud of mystery, Lonr. arrives as a singular and cinematic talent whose vital and vibrant vision piques fascination as it blurs the lines between soul, soundtracks, and simmering Hip-Hop. After being uprooted from Los Angeles as a child and moving to Cape Cod, MA, Lonr. grew up feeling like the odd one out. Upon installing music software in high school, heentrenched himself in beat-making, creating his own universe to exist in. Inspired by the likes of PharrellOutKast, and Tyler, The Creator as well as film scores for Star Wars, Interstellar, and The Pursuit of Happyness, he developed his production chops and songwriting talents through countless hours by himself in front of the computer. On his way up, he became a sought-after songwriter, crafting hits and building worlds alongside other artists. By 2019, he found himself up for multiple GRAMMY® Awards for contributions to H.E.R.’s discography, winning two. At the same time, he began to quietly assemble what would become Lonr.’s own project, Land of Nothing Real.

“I always zone out and go into my own little world,” Lonr. explains. “That’s the Land of Nothing Real. If you don’t like where you are, you can escape into another realm. This project is really about love, longing, and desire. Those topics are always on people’s minds. I’m examining them with melodic and dreamy songs.”

Capturing palpable and relatable emotion, Lonr. might just make you feel a little less alone: “I want listeners to feel like this is something new,” he says. “Most of all, I hope they resonate with me and feel like they’re being heard and not so alone in this world.” Welcome to Lonr.’s world.

BIA DROPS NEW SINGLE & VISUALIZER “COVERGIRL”

(April 3, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA) – Today, gold-certified Boston-born and Los Angeles-based rapper BIA shares a brand new single and music video entitled “COVERGIRL.

Get it HERE via Epic Records

Once again, BIA’s clever and catchy wordplay takes second stage as she turns heads in the accompanying video by donning various looks while still rapping. “COVER GIRL” showcases her bars and style on point.

Watch it HERE.

Just a week ago, she returned with “Free BIA (1st Day Out). In addition to plugs from RESPECT Magazine and Revolt TVHotNewHipHop described the track as “a statement” and predicted, “All signs are pointing to a big year ahead for BIA.

Spitting with agile aggression, dropping clever observations, and pouncing like a panther on every beat, BIA rips through rap with a feral intensity. She uncovered this beast inside.

Following her breakout mixtape #CHOLASEASON, she joined J BalvinPharrell Williams, and Sky on the international banger “Safari” in 2016. Between solo singles like “Whip It” and “Gucci Comin’ Home, she hit the road on blockbuster tours with Ariana GrandePusha T, and J Balvin in addition to gracing the stages of CoachellaSXSWAC3, and Revolt Music Summit. 2019 saw her make waves with the Nice Girls Finish Last: Cuidado EP powered by “YAKWTFGO” [feat. Kali Uchis] and “VIBES ON ME” [feat. Kodak Black]. Chantal Jeffries tapped her for “Facts” alongside YG and Rich The Kid as Sam Spiegel enlisted her to soundtrack a Chanel campaign, which aired during the GRAMMY® Awards broadcast. Closing out the year, she teamed up with Russ for “Best On Earth. Not only did the song achieve a gold certification and reach #69 on the Billboard Hot 100, but Rihanna also posted a video with “Best On Earth” playing in the background and declared it, “my new fav song.” Now, Bia ignites her new chapter with Epic by dropping the bold declaration “Free Bia (1stDay Out)”and hypnotic anthem “COVERGIRL.

INTRODUCING: MILES MORRISON DEBUT EP HOLLYWOODLAND OUT NOW

(April 3, 2020 – New York, NY) – Michigan-born and Los Angeles-based artist, rapper, and creative maverick Miles Morrison unleashes his debut Hollywoodland EP today.

Get it HERE via Epic Records.

A mosaic of raw rap, alternative experimentation, confessional lyrics, subversive pop, and cinematic vision, the eight-track project introduces him as an eruptive force. On tracks like the infectious opener “Bad For My Health, he assures, “I break the mold,” before going on to just do that on every subsequent track. Everything culminates on the emotionally charged vigil “Take Me Away. Over ominous bells and a hi-hat skitter, he admits, “So I tried to go and blame it on my fucking past, now I know that these addictions are my better half.” It proves equally chilling and catchy.

Check out the full tracklisting below.

Soon, he will share a unique triptych of music videos from the project with a nod to A Clockwork Orange. It’s a dose of good old-fashioned sonic ultra-violence, kicking things off with the final video of the series “Bad for My Health” on Monday, April 6.

“I’ve always had a passion for film, I’ve always had a passion for directors like Stanley Kubrick and Quentin Tarantino, among others…” says Miles. “Hollywood was my thing, even before music. So, I knew once I had an opportunity to get into music videos, I really wanted to implement all of that.

As I was conceptualizing the videos, I wanted to create something that represented what I’ve been going through for the past few years. So really what you’re watching in these first 3 videos is not necessarily meant to be taken so literally, but, in fact, what it represents is a metaphor for what I’ve gone through from the moment I moved here until today. The woman in the story, she represents ‘Hollywood’ to me.”

Miles Morrison invites you to Hollywoodland now. You may never be the same afterwards.

Born a stone’s throw from Flint in Fenton, MI, Miles Morrison always saw beyond the confines of the Midwest. Raised by his single mother, he found inspiration in everyone from Eminem to Eddie Vedder. During his second year at Arizona State University, he developed a fascination with drugs and reshaped his entire path. Picking up and moving to Los Angeles, he pursued music and film. He went from breaking it down at parties with fiery freestyles to pay-for-play gigs in some of the city’s most hostile underground clubs and neighborhoods before catching the attention of EP Entertainment. Signed to a joint venture between EP Entertainment and Epic Records, he opens up his world on Hollywoodland.

Tracklisting:

  1. Bad For My Health
  2. She’ll Be OK
  3. Off White
  4. I’m So Lost
  5. Warwick
  6. 40
  7. Go Out [feat. Yo Gotti & Stunna Girl]

Meanwhile, his seismic vocal range takes center stage, leaping from breathy verses into a hypnotic chant. It all climaxes on one last mind-bending bass transmission.

MADISON BEER RELEASES “STAINED GLASS” FOLLOWING AN INSTAGRAM LIVE FAN FRENZY

Today, after her dedicated fan base mobilized on social media, Madison Beer released “Stained Glass” via Sing It Loud/First Access Entertainment on exclusive license to Epic Records. Upon hearing the song in an Instagram Live session last week, which had over 350,000 unique viewers, fans flocked to Epic’s most recent Instagram post leaving over 2,000 comments demanding the song be released.

“I wrote Stained Glass at a time where I was really struggling mentally,” stated Madison.  “This song was my message, not only to the public, but to those around me, to be more gentle on people and not judge them so hard, because you never know what someone’s been through. People sometimes assume that I’m ok, when I’m not; people don’t really see the parts of me that are the ugly, sad or depressed, they only see the sides they want to see, or the sides I feel comfortable to show because of the scrutiny that I’ve been under in my life.”  She continued, “The stones lyric in the chorus refer to the traditional metaphor for people’s words and the lyric saying ‘I just might break’ is where I have finally shown my vulnerability in its absolute form.”

Madison’s debut album, a strong personal and artistic statement, is slated for release later this year. This unique project sees Madison where she thrives – commanding complete creative control through writing her own songs, producing and creating her own visuals. The album will feature previous releases “Good In Goodbye” and “Selfish,” which have a combined total stream count of over 45 million.

Prior to signing with Epic Records late last year, Madison Beer achieved unprecedented success as an independent artist with her partner First Access Entertainment. Her debut EP As She Pleases boasts over 700 million streams and made her the first independent female solo artist to break into the Top 20 radio charts, after having debuted in the Top 5 on iTunes in 18 countries and in the Top 10 in 42 countries worldwide. Globally, Beer has over 1 billion streams across her catalogue.

She’s attracted the endorsement of Time, Complex, NME, The Guardian and Billboard who named her among its coveted “21 Under 21” list and has a social following that reaches an audience of over 16.2 million on Instagram, 2.6 million on Twitter and 5.3 million on Tik Tok.

About Melvoni:

When Melvoni screams, “I’m from New York, it tells you everything you need to know. The 16-year-old Brooklyn wunderkind represents the toughest spirit of New York through and through. Born to Jamaican parents, he spent his childhood back-and-forth between the States and Jamaica. Facing hardship growing up, he ditched his first part-time job after being robbed and turned to the streets. Yet, he took that hustle to the studio as soon as possible, recording music and catching the attention of his manager outside of a concert.  In the aftermath, he found himself in an L.A. studio recording “No Man’s Land”—which originally might’ve featured the late and great Pop Smoke.

Rapping with fire and fury, he bodies minimalist production upheld by organic instrumentation. He quietly clawed his way to the forefront of the Borough’s 21st century vanguard with nearly 8 million views and 5 million streams. As “Memories” caught on, Pitchfork claimed, “It’s only a matter of time until “Memories” is playing from every Bluetooth speaker as New York City high schools dismiss.” Touted by GeniusLyrical LemonadeElevator MagazineFashionably Early, and more, he inked a deal with Epic Records and emerged as a voice for his city in 2020. He’s ready to go worldwide.

(Los Angeles, CA – March 17, 2020) – LAMB OF GOD has released the music video for “Memento Mori,” the opening track on their forthcoming self-titled album due May 8 via Epic Records. Fans were able to unlock a 10 second teaser of the song through an eerie Instagram Story filter released by the band over the weekend.

Watch “Memento Mori” at www.lamb-of-god.com.

Executed from a narrative treatment written by vocalist D. Randall Blythe, the “Memento Mori” video features the band (guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, bassist John Campbell, drummer Art Cruz, and Blythe) performing the unrelenting album opener, from their upcoming self-titled new album (due May 8 worldwide).  Lyrically and visually, the message of both the song and video are extremely topical, offering hope at a time of societal and personal upheaval.

“There is a vast amount of indisputably real and depressingly negative occurrences happening across the globe,” Blythe explains. “Currently, at the forefront of everyone’s mind is the global COVID-19 pandemic. This is a very real concern, and proper precautions need to be taken by EVERYONE in order to protect those most at risk – the elderly, infirm, and immunocompromised. It is indeed a scary time, but in this hyper-connected age with its 24/7 never-ending news cycle of atrocity, outrage and lurid click-bait headlines (not to mention ill-informed lunatics running amok and spreading misinformation and panic on social media), it is all too easy to lose sight of the fact that life is still carrying on, and good things do in fact still happen.”

“Months before the COVID-19 outbreak occurred, I wrote ‘Memento Mori’ as a reminder to myself to not be consumed by the omnipresent electronic harbingers of doom that surround us – cellphones, computers, and television screens. While these devices can be useful tools, and it is important to stay informed, it is equally important to remain engaged with the real, physical world we live in, not just digitally filtered representations of reality. I wrote the narrative music video treatment a few months ago to illustrate how warped and myopic our mental states can become when we fail to remain engaged with that reality – if all you pay attention to is catastrophe, then soon you will begin to see monsters everywhere you look. The actual monsters we used in the video are Sinisteria, a local Richmond, Virginia haunted house/dark performance troupe I met on the street at our annual Krampus Nacht parade. Richmond has a strong tradition of loud music and weird costumed monsters working hand in hand to make salient points (we are the birthplace of GWAR, after all), and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Music has always been there for me, raising my spirits during hard times, and it is my hope that this song’s positive message will do the same for fans of our music right now and beyond. The release date for the tune was set a good while ago, but the timing seems eerily prescient to me now. So enjoy the song and video, and then remember to step away from the screens for a bit – real life is waiting for you. We only get one shot, so don’t waste this day. Everyone be well, keep a cool head, take care of yourselves, and take care of EACH OTHER.”

Regarding the music, guitarist Mark Morton adds, “I had been sitting with the music for the intro and the post chorus for quite a while.  I was trying to develop those two parts as separate songs altogether and was a little bit stumped, particularly with the intro piece. Me, Willie and Josh Wilbur (producer) were doing demos in the studio and the idea came up to try to mash those parts into the same tune and everything just took off.   It was one of those times where once I knew what we were trying to do, the riffs just kind of fell out of me like they were writing themselves. It’s always a crazy feeling when that happens. Vocally, Randy heard the intro and said he instantly got a throwback Sisters Of Mercytype vibe from it and he took off from there.”

The music video for “Memento Mori” follows fast on the heels of “Checkmate,” the first new music from LAMB OF GOD in roughly five years. Both songs are set to appear on the band’s eighth studio album, which was produced by longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur (GojiraKornMegadethTrivium).  Lamb of God will be the band’s first record with Cruz, who sat behind the kit with LAMB OF GOD in 2018 and became an official member the following year.  The new album also features guest appearances from Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed) and Chuck Billy (Testament).

LAMB OF GOD propelled heavy metal into the new millennium two decades ago with their genre-defining New American Gospel. They followed with 2003’s As the Palaces Burn, which made the Rolling Stone list of the Top 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time. Ashes of the Wake (2004) was the firstLAMB OF GOD album to be certified gold by the RIAA, followed by Sacrament (2006), which debuted inBillboard’s Top 10. Wrath (2009) earned the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hard Rock, Rock, and Tastemaker charts and was No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Those No. 1 positions were repeated with Resolution (2012). VII: Sturm und Drang (2015) debuted at No. 3 in North America and in the Top 5 in several countries.

The new album features guest appearances from Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed) and Chuck Billy (Testament). Blythe sounds more driven and insightful than ever on Lamb Of God, offering up the angriest and most comprehensive diatribes, addressing modern life in the current landscape, of his storied career thus far.

“There is a vast amount of indisputably real and depressingly negative occurrences happening across the globe,” he acknowledges. “But in today’s hyper-connected age, with its 24-7 never-ending news cycle of atrocity and outrage, it is all too easy to lose sight of the fact that good things do still happen.”

The band is scheduled to make their live return at Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, Florida, followed by a massive co-headlining tour with Megadeth, featuring support from Trivium and In Flames

This marks the very first joint project between these two titans and arrives on the fifth anniversary of DJ Esco’s storied 56 Nights mixtape with Future.

Get 56 BIRDZ HERE.

They previewed its arrival last week by sharing the single “PRIMETIME. Powered by skittering hi hats, icy hooks, and airtight rhymes, it’s already closing in on 1 million total streams. Elsewhere on the project, “POP IT” grinds on a skittering slick beat before snapping into an instantly infectious chant, “Pull up and pop my shit.” Then, there’s “Bankroll.Counting up bars over ESCO’s hummable production, it flips through a woozy melodic chorus. “You Tried It” spotlights Doe Boy’s laidback flows as it bleeds into another hypnotic hook. Everything culminates on “Him 4Real” and one final midwest rap masterclass from Doe Boy

Check out the full tracklisting below.

Emerging as the coldest spitter out of C-Town, Doe Boy maintains the momentum from his 2019 opus Streetz Need Me 2. Between cuts like “Grave Digger” [feat. Young Thug], “Walk Down” [feat. YG], and “Too Playa” [feat. Gunna] and skits from none other than Mike Epps, he impressively put up over 20 million cumulative streams. Beyond acclaim from HYPEBEASTand Karen CivilLyrical Lemonade pondered, “I would not be surprised at all if Doe Boy begins to enter the class of mainstream rap stars because of it. Streetz Need Me 2 rounded out a breakout year also highlighted by his appearance on Future’s “100 Shooters” also featuring Meek Mill

Meanwhile, this serves as ESCO’s first project since 2018’s KOLORBLIND. The latter touted the smash “Chek” [feat. Future] and “Xotic” [feat. Rich The KidFuture, & Young Thug]. Earning critical plaudits, HipHopDX wrote, DJ ESCO earns himself a ‘W’ in the album column,” and Billboard added, “The project shows off the ATLien’s curation ability, which puts Future Hendrix in position to succeed on a broad range of tracks, boasting the duo’s strong rapport and versatility to play ball in any arena.

Hear DJ ESCO and DOE BOY take flight with 56 BIRDZ now!

When it comes to hip-hop, there may be no one colder than DJ ESCO. He has served as Future’s official DJ since 2008 and shepherded countless game-changing releases alongside the Atlanta star. He acted as executive producer of the rapper’s biggest album to date the multi-platinum DS2 in 2015. Plus, he executive produced the 2017 back-to-back Billboard Top 200 #1 platinum powerhouses, Future and Hndrxx. In addition to dropping underground favorites such as Ball Like Me in 2012 and No Sleep in 2014, his 56-night stay in a Dubai prison infamously inspired Future’s 2015 classic mixtape, 56 Nights. Between endless touring, 2016 saw DJ Esco drop Project E.T. The latter yielded the smash “Too Much Sauce, which racked up over 103.1 million Spotify streams to date and garnered a platinum plaque.

A.CHAL RETURNS WITH HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW SINGLE “PINK DUST”

(March 13, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA) – Returning with his first release of 2020, Peruvian-born singer, songwriter, and producer A.CHAL shares a new song entitled “Pink Dust” today. Get it HERE via Epic Records

Earlier this morning, he teamed up with The FADER to exclusively premiere the music video. Watch the video HERE.

Spinning an array of sounds through a psychedelic lens, the track slips under genre lines with confidence, charisma, and charm. Meanwhile, his voice bobs and weaves between woozy melodies and tight rhymes, conjuring imagery through vivid lyrics a la, “Jimi Hendrix playing out in Malibu, it’s bringing out another side of you” and the confession, “I don’t want to talk; I want to lay with you. As he canvases an empty beach in the visual, artful editing brings transcendent and grainy vignettes together in one intimate fever dream around an ecstatic sonic high.

Gravitating around the nascent feelings of fresh love, A.CHAL compares the beginnings of a romantic attachment to a drug, labeling the sensation “pink dust.” He divulged, “It’s about that moment of knowing that you’re about to fall in love with someone and knowing that you’re never going to have that moment again.”

Of the video, he told The FADER, “it is about chasing that love-drug, chasing otherworldly love. It’s all of that and more. Living in Hollywood for the last several years, it’s difficult to find authentic love. And when you encounter it and indulge in that feeling, you find yourself longing for it more and more. It’s like chasing your first high. There are other layers to the visual concept, though I’ll leave that to the viewer to unveil.”

“Pink Dust” paves the way for the arrival of his anxiously awaited new album, due for release later this year. The project looks back as it leaps forward, fusing together psychedelic soundscapes, R&B, Reggaeton, and Rock into a future-facing odyssey guided by A.CHAL, who co-produced much of the album alongside Noel Zancanella (other production collaborations include names like Tainy). The body of work takes listeners on a roller coaster ride through a self-awakening, while exploring the concept of love and authenticity as being the key in navigating a path towards finding peace.

Get ready to fall into his world. Watch this space for more news and music, coming soon.

ABOUT A.CHAL

Born in Lima, Peru as a decent of Quechua and raised between the cities of Trujillo, Peru and Queens, New York, A.CHAL developed a unique sound. His music is punctuated with a fusion of indigenous Peruvian sounds, modern trap-soul sonics, and the sounds he consumed growing up on the east coast of the U.S., where he admired icons such as DMX, the DiplomatsLil Wayne, and Pharrell. He defies standard R&B tropes with a sleek voice, an eclectic sonic palette, and his ingenuity in speaking about emotions at their rawest form. His unique brand of music has caught the attention of some of the culture’s most notable purveyors, from Apple Music’s global creative director Zane Lowe, Berluti’s creative director Kris Van Assche, perfumer and founder of ByredoBen Gorham, and global Latin artists like J. Balvin and ROSALÍA

Eventually, A.CHAL moved coasts, setting in Los Angeles where he put together what would become his first project, Ballroom Riots. Subsequently securing a publishing deal with Sony/ATV, he landed his first major songwriting and production placement with Jennifer Lopez. In 2016, he released his first full length project Welcome to Gazi independently, which garnered him attention from the likes of Drake’s OVOVirgil Abloh and A$AP Rocky. By 2017, he earned his first RIAA Gold-certification for his single “Love n Hennessey” (a subsequent remix features 2 Chainz and Nicky Jam), taken from his acclaimed EP, ON GAZ. Substantial touring and critical acclaim followed, which led him into a partnership with Epic Records, which released his EXOTIGAZ EP at the end of 2018. Featuring his fasting growing single to-date, “000000,” and his first full Latin song, “La Dueña,” the project continued his sonic evolution. Along the way, A.CHAL received acclaim across the board, with outlets like Tidal naming him a “rising artist” and Forbes recently calling him “the emerging Latinx artist you won’t be able to ignore this year.” Additionally, he received praise from the likes of Billboard, Paper, Noisey, The FADER, Flaunt, i-D, Hypebeast, Highsnobiety, Remezcla and more.

These earlier projects and accolades showcased the aspirations of making it to where he is now; upcoming first major label album explores the different emotional states throughout an artist’s transition in notoriety and is motivated by the sacrifices that come with success.  Without ever being boxed into any specific category, his new music displays the evolution of his artistic development, one that will continue to evolve and connect with fans across all borders.

(March 13, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA) – Buzzing genre disruptor Rence uncovers a brand new single entitled “Type 2” today.

Get it HERE via Epic Records.

Fusing organic instrumentation and glitchy production from the jump, faint acoustic guitar echoes in the background as Rence admits, “I’m a Type 2 when it’s time to fight you.” He rides a self-produced minimalist beat and dips into impressive falsetto before doubling back towards the hypnotic hook, “I get why you feel like, like I don’t mind.” Once again, he artfully balances alternative, R&B, hip-hop, and pop all at once within his own world.

The song arrives on the heels of the bold and buzz-y single “hate u, btw,” released earlier this year along with a DIY music video. It has since amassed close to 600k streams. Continuing to capitalize on the momentum sparked by the release of his Fall 2019 EP, Rence continues to receive acclaim and accolades. Pigeons & Planes named him among  “Best New Artists of the Month” while his breakout single “Expensive” [feat. Noah Cyrus] recently surpassed 6 million global streams. In addition, he has received looks from Nylon, i-D, The FADER, BillboardPaper and more.

Arriving just in time for the warmer months, the track flaunts a breezy blend of pop & R&B that finds AJ entering a vibrant new era as an artist. Co-written by AJ himself alongside Dan Gleyzer, Matt Bubel, Chelsea Balan and Grant Landis, “Spring Break” is available now via all digital streaming platforms HERE

“I had a blast making Spring Break,” said AJ. “I haven’t really made a song like this before and I’m excited for people to hear a new side to me. It’s really just inspired by the idea that Spring Break is a frame of mind. If you’re not on spring break, listening to this song will take you right there.”

AJ has also released a colorful accompanying music video for the song today, directed by Psycho Films’ Joe Weil (Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Ferg, Electric Guest). “BEAM is confident and proficient in everything he’s making, and backed by his own top tier production, he doesn’t miss. Expect that to continue in 2020.” – Pigeons and Planes

“On his debut project, 95, rapper-producer BEAM effectively hops around the globe, borrowing from dancehall, trap, lo-fi and boom-bap.” – NPR

(March 5, 2020 – New York, NY) – Today, GRAMMY® Award-winning rapper, singer, songwriter and producer BEAM unveils the official music video for his acclaimed track “UNDA ARMOR.” Premiered earlier today via The FADER, the video is directed by PDL. Watch it HERE.

About the song, BEAM says, “’UNDA ARMOR’ is about the Holy Spirit to me, but it can mean anything to anyone who listens to the song. It can be what you feel literally protects you when you walk outside of your house. Every day is a battlefield.”

The black-and-white clip opens on BEAM trying to hock mixtapes to passersby to no avail. After encountering a light in the sky, he dons a black vest, hops on his bike, and takes to the streets as a throng of followers rush behind him. With glassy eyes and a raven flying above, the tripped-out video reflects his shadowy sonic spirit. Meanwhile, he captivates with the hook, “I had the UNDA ARMOR vest to protect myself, still got the city on my back to protect myself.

Of the video, he explains to The FADER that it is about “transitioning from a point in my life where I was grinding and hustling, from rock bottom, to a place where I want to be. At the same time, that comes with the people who treated me like shit and doubted me during that experience. Now I have people hitting me, calling me, DMing me saying how they believe in me. They only see the music and the progress, but they still don’t really believe in me. The video is painting a vivid picture of that.”

“UNDA ARMOR,” which is produced by ChaseTheMoney, can be found on his critically lauded debut EP, 95. Get it HERE via Epic Records.

Released at the end of 2019, 95 cements BEAM as a new kind of artist to be reckoned with. Seamlessly mixing Dancehall with Hip-Hop, Trap, Electronics and Pop, the project showcases a masterful songwriter and producer who takes the idea of genre, obliterates it and builds something new. He effortlessly switches between Jamaican Patois and English, and rapping and singing, with an intoxicatingly robust and adaptable voice. The result is jarring-yet-melodic, a direct-yet-diverse cohesion of colors and textures. Executive produced by BEAM and Cardo[Drake, Travis Scott] with additional production contributions from Frank DukesChaseTheMoneyAl Cres and Blake$ale, the EP has brought the artist an onslaught of buzz.

NPR touted him among their “Favorite Discoveries of 2019” for All Songs Considered’s Heat Check, commending his “synth-bridging dancehall.” Pigeons & Planes named him one of 2020’s biggest Artists to Watch, describing 95 as “a sound that is decidedly modern and subtly forward-thinking, and designed to move bodies.” EP highlight “Mad Gaal” received major love from Soulection while LA Weekly spotlighted “UNDA ARMOR” and his genre-bending aesthetic, exclaiming that he is “bridging multiple sounds, creating his own lane of sonically-appealing hip-hop and R&B.”  Highsnobiety perhaps put it best,“BEAM’s light shines bright.” Additionally, he appeared on COLORS for a scorching tour de force performance of the track “2X2.”  View it HERE.

Recently, he collaborated with Major LazerAnitta and MC Lan on the track “Rave De Favela.” Next, he graces a stacked bill headlined by A$AP RockyTravis Scott, and Post Malone at Rolling Loud in Miami, FL on May 8-10.

BEAM’s light will only grow in 2020. Get ready for more soon.

ABOUT BEAM:

BEAM stands for “Be Everything And More. The artist most certainly lives up to the promise of his moniker. As the son of Reggae and Dancehall legend Papa San, music has been in his blood since birth. After immigrating from Kingston, Jamaica to Miami, FL as a young child, he grew up in the studio. Naturally, he became a songwriting and beatsmith maverick, placing his first production credits as a teenager.  BEAM has done production and songwriting work for everyone from 2 Chainz and Yo Gotti to Lecrae, whose  2012 album Gravity won the 2013 GRAMMY Award® for Best Gospel Album. Most recently, he worked on 21 Savage’s 2018 album I Was > I Am on tracks like “ball w/o you” and “good day.” As he a quietly amassed an arsenal of solo tracks, he lent his voice to “Mumbai Power” from Skrillex’s 2019 Show Tracks. Not to mention, he earned a cosign from Diplo and hit the studio with the likes of Major LazerMetro Boomin, and South Side, amongst others.

Now, his debut EP, 95, stands out as more than just music; it’s a genre-busting global experience. He’s everything and more.

Right out of the gate, this opus earned some of the best reviews of OZZY’s five-decade career. Variety called it, “an almost Bowie-‘Blackstar’-like farewell to friends and fans” and concluded,“With a really good—even at times great—album, OZZY OSBOURNE shows off, at the very least, that he’ll never be ordinary.” Forbes dubbed it, “a truly impressive one that deepens OSBOURNE’s sentimental place in rock and metal music.” Rolling Stone wrote, “Decades after he howled out ‘Oh, please, God, help me’ on ‘Black Sabbath,’ OZZY is still bravely confronting the dark side as only he can.” Consequence of Sound put it best, “There’s light still shining on the Prince of Darkness.

Next up, OZZY shares the music video for “Scary Little Green Men” starring none other thanJason Momoa [Aquaman]. Check out the behind-the-scenes HERE.

G HERBO RELEASES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW ALBUM PTSD TODAY

INCLUDING SPECIAL GUESTS CHANCE THE RAPPER, JUICE WRLD, LIL UZI VERT, A BOOGIE WIT DA HOODIE, 21 SAVAGE & MORE

PTSD TOUR UNDERWAY NOW KICKING OFF LAST NIGHT IN NYC

(February 28, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA) – Serving up a definitive statement, rising red-hot Chicago rapper G Herbo unleashes his anxiously awaited new album, PTSD, today. Upon going live, it claimed a spot in the Top 2 of iTunes Top Hip-Hop/Rap Albums Chart and the Top 5 of the Overall Top Albums Chart.

Get it HERE via Machine Entertainment Group/Orchard/Epic Records.

Herbo heralded the album with a pair of bold and brash bangers befitting of his reputation as a major power player in the Chicago rap music scene. “In This Bitch” scored over 2 million streams worldwide and garneredthe endorsement of Brooklyn Vegan and HipHopDX to name a few. Last week, he popped off on the slick and smooth anthem “Shooter” [feat. Jacquees]. In under seven days, it gathered 687K streams worldwide asHotNewHipHop dubbed it, “an R&B-rap track for the ladies.”

On the artwork for PTSD, he re-stitches a bullet-riddled American flag with stars representative of his loved ones who have passed away.” My statement is about PTSD and what everybody goes through in the hood you don’t hear about “says G HerboEven the toughest among us face it. This is my story.”

As a whole, PTSD tours the darkest corners of a psyche damaged by the everlasting cycle of inner city violence as witnessed firsthand by Herbo. On the gruff and gritty “Intro, he spits with purpose, passion, and power. From the jump, he announces, “I do it for the have-s and have-nots, as nineties production glistens. The intensity only ramps up from there on “Glass In The Face” [feat. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie]. A centerpiece of the record, “PTSD” [feat. the Juice WRLDChance the RapperLil Uzi Vert] unfolds as an emotionally charged confession, bringing together three of Chicago’s most influential voices—the late Juice WRLDChance, and Herbo—and elusive Philadelphia multiplatinum star Lil Uzi Vert. It paints a picture of urban decay and highlights a pervasive theme with the declaration, “Don’t stand too close to me, I got PTSD.” Meanwhile, soul samples bleed into a crossfire between Herbo and 21 Savage on “By Any Means.” Everything culminates on“Intuition” [feat. 2PRETTY Sonta]. It offers a peek at the light at the end of the tunnel with heavenly vocals and a skittering beat and one final lyrical catharsis.

Full tracklisting below.

Last night, he launched the PTSD Tour in Brooklyn at Brooklyn Steel. It canvases the entire country before concluding at House of Blues in Cleveland, OH on April 7. Full itinerary below!

Herbo says it all on PTSD and possesses the power to make a major impact.

Quietly putting up over 1 billion streams and attracting widespread critical acclaim, G Herbo emerged as one of the Windy City’s most important presences and a voice for hip-hop at large. He hailed from the notorious Chicago neighborhood of “Terror Town” and went on to drop one explosive project after another beginning with Ballin Like I’m Kobe in 2016. In the aftermath, he lifted himself up to the top of the charts with Humble Beast, which vaulted into the Top 25 of the Billboard Top 200 in 2017. He ascended to unparalleled critical peaks on 2018’s Swervo with Southside. It clinched #15 on the Top 200 and bowed in the Top 10 on the Top Rap Albums Chart and Top 10 on the Top R&B Hip-Hop Albums Chart. Receiving praise from HotNewHipHopHipHopDXDJ BoothThe Four Oh Five, and more, Pitchfork proclaimed Swervo among “The Best Rap Albums of 2018” and asserted, “Through it all, G Herbo never abandons the puns and hater-dismantling bars that have helped him become one of the Windy City’s very best. Boasting collaborations with Gunna “Trained To Kill (Big Body Whips)” and the late legend Juice WRLD “Never Scared, 2019’s Still Swervin maintained his momentum followed by Sessions at the end of the year.

HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW MUSIC FROM DAY SULAN COMING SOON

(February 26, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA) – Marking a groundshaking power move, multi-platinum rapper and Compton champion YG has entered a high-profile joint venture with Epic RecordsEpic Records will exclusively release, distribute, and market new music from 4HUNNIDYG’s Los Angeles-based independent record label. Supporting YG’s vision, Epic intends to cement 4HUNNID as the epicenter for West Coast rap.

YG is eager to get started. He stated, “Me and my team have been doing innovative, legendary stuff for years—helping keep the West Coast alive. Now, Epic comes through at the best possible time with a platform for our expansion. I’m proud of this opportunity and will make the most of it.”

Epic Records Chairwoman and CEO Sylvia Rhone shares her artist’s enthusiasm. She echoes the sentiment, “We at Epic are delighted by this joint venture with YG and his forward-thinking4HUNNID brand. YG perfectly represents the new face of hip-hop music: versatile, creative, multifaceted, and steeped in history but versed in current trends. This marks an exciting addition to our roster and offerings.”

4HUNNID stretches well beyond music; it encapsulates C.E.O. YG’s versatility and impact, touting impeccable branding, inimitable style, and ambitious vision for both the label and its affiliated clothing line. The company has already sent shockwaves through pop culture stalwarts Complexand The Fader, which wrote, “With their 4HUNNID clothing line, YG and his team are playing the long game.

4HUNNID has stayed busy charting tremors on the strength of a surging roster: consider Compton hip-hop femme fatale Day Sulan, she of the millions of streams. Currently readying new music, Day Sulan spoke out on “Her Story,” off YG’s 2019 opus 4Real 4Real, which shot to # 7 on Billboard’s Top 200.

Welcome to the era of 4HUNNID.

Meanwhile, YG’s reign leads the West Coast into 2020 and beyond. The Compton rapper, actor, entrepreneur, designer, and philanthropist boasts four consecutive Top 10 albums, including his platinum debut My Krazy Life and follow-up Stay Dangerous. He’s likewise crushed the digital space to the tune of 3 billion streams to date. His glittering discography encompasses the quadruple-platinum “My *****” [feat. Jeezy Rich Homie Quan], the triple-platinum “Big Bank” [feat. 2 ChainzBig Sean, & Nicki Minaj], the double-platinum “Who Do You Love?” [feat.Drake], the platinum “Why You Always Hatin?” [feat. Drake & Kamaiyah], and gold trio of “Suu Whoop, “Left, Right” [feat. DJ Mustard], and “Go Loko” [feat. Tyga & Jon Z].  Also an accomplished actor, YG appeared in White Boy Rick alongside Academy® Award winnerMatthew McConaughey. But YG remains committed to his duties as 4HUNNID C.E.O, elevating raw talent and furthering West Coast legacy as only he can.

BLOOMING Vol. 1 illuminates the full scope of Kodie Shane’s talents. On “NOT TONIGHT, woozy harmonies glisten through a hypnotic haze. Her vocals take hold through confessional verses as she admits, “I can’t stay the night, unless I want to pay the price” in a high register moan. Meanwhile, airy guitar resounds on “TIMING” where ominous production rises and falls with her fluttering auto-tuned delivery. Additionally, the project boasts the banger “2 MANY,” which was released at the end of 2019. The track is where her confidence pops off, with,Billboard exclaiming, Mustering up all of the bravado usually reserved for straight male rappers, the star takes the concept of a flex and reconfigures it through a queer lens on 2 Many, as she spits bars about not being tied down by any one woman.”
