MAN WITH A MISSION—ULTIMATE LIFE FORM ROCK BAND—RELEASES NEW SINGLE “DEAD END IN TOKYO” VIA EPIC RECORDS

(January 27, 2017 – New York, NY) – MAN WITH A MISSION–the five-piece rock band that blends rock, punk, pop and dance–today (1/27) have released their new single “Dead End in Tokyo,” co-written and produced by Patrick Stump, via Epic Records. Download/stream “Dead End in Tokyo” on the following platforms: iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Google Play and Amazon Digital. The official music video for “Dead End in Tokyo” was also released today and can be seen here. Look for the single to start impacting rock and alternative radio February 20.

“It’s mainly about the city of Tokyo,” says Jean-Ken Johnny (vocals and guitar). “It’s a really crazy city. Almost everything happens there. At the same time, almost everything ends there. I believe there are a lot of cities that have that in common. It’s a common perspective on big cities around the globe. We focused on the people who come to Tokyo, have big dreams, but end up stuck in a dead end. We talked it through with Patrick, and we were on the same page. It was amazing working with him.”

“Dead End in Tokyo” marks the first global single for MAN WITH A MISSION– Tokyo Tanaka (vocals), Kamikaze Boy (bass), Jean-Ken Johnny (vocals and guitar), DJ Santa Monica (DJ) and Spear Rib (drums)–and first release under Epic Records. The track confidently struts along on an arena-ready groove and thick guitars before culminating in the chant, “Keep on living, but you’ll never leave alive.”

“Dead End in Tokyo” illustrates the band’s evolution and embrace of its earliest influences as well. “What we do is rock music, but we mix in other genres we love like hip-hop, alternative, electronic, and metal,” shares Johnny. “That’s what makes a solid rock song. Every time we go to America and perform, it feels like I’m tracing back what I’ve been listening to.”

Meanwhile, the band—whose distinguishing feature is that all members wear differently designed wolf masks during both their concerts and music videos—will be opening up for Guns N’ Roses this Saturday (1/28) at the sold-out Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo. U.S. fans can expect MAN WITH A MISSION to hit the road in the states during 2017; more details to follow.

ABOUT MAN WITH A MISSION:
As the story goes, half-man, half-wolf band MAN WITH A MISSION thawed out of icy coffins in 2010 and tore through Japan with a feral rock ‘n’ roll energy on par with that of Godzilla. Over the course of four albums, most recently 2016’s The World’s On Fire (Sony Music Entertainment), the band became an international phenomenon in their own right. Produced by the legendary Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Korn) and featuring collaborations with ††† (Crosses)’ Shaun Lopez (Deftones, Lupe Fiasco), the record clawed its way to #1 on iTunes and sold over 200K physical copies in less than two months. Since their emergence, they’ve taken a bite out of world-renowned festivals such as Fuji Rock, Summer Sonic, Knotfest and more in addition to touring with Rise Against. Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson shared the stage with these animals during a sold-out show at The Roxy in Hollywood and lent his remixing talents to “Distance.” Moreover, their music has been heard in Street Fighter V and the Japanese release of the Academy® Award-nominated blockbuster Mad Max: Fury Road.

Teeth sharpened and harrier than ever, they set their sights on North America for a 2017 takeover.

(January 27, 2017 – New York, NY) Four-time Grammy Award®-nominated, multi-platinum selling singer and songwriter, producer, business entrepreneur, and reality TV show superstar Keyshia Cole releases new single “You” featuring Remy Ma and French Montana exclusively on Fader.com today. Keyshia will perform “You” for the first time on Jimmy Kimmel Live! January 30th at 11:35PM on ABC. Followed by performance and interview on The Real February 7th at 11:00AM on FOX.

Check out the song HERE

Last month the songstress announced that she signed an exclusive contract with Epic Records. Keyshia stated on the Instagram post “I take pride in saying I’m now a part of the Epic Family!! And a goal that my Epic fam and I mutually share is to take this passion to new heights!”

Keyshia Cole exploded onto the R&B and pop scene in the summer of 2005, with her RIAA platinum debut album The Way It Is (A&M), featuring the RIAA platinum single “Love.” Its successful run established the passionate young Oakland, Cali native among the pantheon of crossover Urban stars. She won VIBE’s Next Award and was nominated for a slew of top honors at the NAACP Image Awards, BET Awards, Viewer’s Choice Awards, Soul Train Awards, American Music Awards, and Urban Music Awards. This avalanche of success dovetailed in the summer 2006 with Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is, her first reality TV show, which aired for three seasons on BET through 2008.

The 2007 release of Keyshia’s second album Just Like You, with guest appearances by Diddy, Missy Elliott, Lil’ Kim, Too $hort, Anthony Hamilton, T.I., and others, coincided with the second season of her TV show, sending the album to a #2 Soundscan debut and RIAA platinum sales. The platinum single “Let It Go” (featuring Missy Elliott and Lil’ Kim) was the first of three #1 R&B smashes, including “I Remember” and “Heaven Sent.” Keyshia earned her first Grammy® nominations at the 2008 awards, for Just Like You as Best Contemporary R&B Album, and for “Let It Go” as Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. The following year, “Heaven Sent” qualified for Grammy® nominations as Best Female R&B Vocal and Best R&B Song.

Keyshia’s third consecutive RIAA platinum album A Different Me arrived at the end of 2008, to another #2 Soundscan debut. The album spun off a trio of Top 10 R&B hits, “Playa Cardz Right” (a posthumous duet with 2Pac), “You Complete Me,” and “Trust” (featuring Monica). Keyshia’s 23-city A Different Me Tour of May-June 2009 was her first headlining tour.

Into the new decade, Keyshia balanced her new role as a mother with her recording career, starting with the release of Calling All Hearts at the end of 2010. 2012 marked the launch of a new reality series, Keyshia & Daniel: Family First, which underscored the making of her new album, Woman To Woman, released at the end of the year. Keyshia’s most recent album, Point Of No Return (2014), was distinguished by the fact that 8 of its 11 tracks were issued as music videos, extending into early 2015. In February 2015, she premiered her third and most recent reality TV series, the 8-episode Keyshia Cole: All In.

RICK ROSS RELEASES NEW SINGLE “I THINK SHE LIKE ME” FEATURING TY DOLLA $IGN

(January 27, 2017 – New York, NY) – After steadily teasing its release all week on his social media, four-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated multiplatinum 21st century rap legend and Maybach Music Group mastermind Rick Ross shares his brand new single.

Following up 2016’s “Buy Back The Block” [feat. Gucci Mane & 2 Chainz], this is the first official single from his forthcoming ninth full-length album and anxiously awaited Epic Records debut, Rather You Than Me [MMG/Epic Records].

Excitement for “I Think She Like Me” has been building online throughout this past week. On Wednesday, Ross uncovered the single artwork via his Instagram which immediately ignited fans, causing a social media frenzy. Yesterday, he debuted a short clip from the music video, and his followers went wild. Now, he premieres the full video on VEVO. In the visual, he goes from kicking it by the pool at a ritzy waterfront Malibu estate to a sexy masquerade ball steeped in mystery. The song’s soulful production harks back to Teflon Don, while his inimitable gruff delivery carries impenetrable bars between a sultry and sizzling Ty Dolla $ign hook. There’s a lot to like about it!

At midnight, he penned a touching and honest statement about the last eleven years and the release of Rather You Than Me. “This album is more than just another project for me. It’s a product of strength, perseverance and determination. Rather You Than Me is a testimony,” going on to add, “I owed this to my supporters. Y’all that been rocking with me since we came out The Port of Miami. Without you none of this shit really means anything. Rather You Than Me…I hope y’all feel this.” Read the full piece HERE.

“Buy Back The Block” introduced the album with a bang. It already cracked 4 million Spotify streams and counting, while the cinematic music video notched over 11 million YouTube/VEVO views. Complex called it, “A big moment,” while Pitchfork, Spin, and others featured it.

“Untouchable” is the best way to describe Rick Ross’s decade-plus run at the top of rap. Along the way, he achieved five Billboard Top 200 #1 debuts and three #2 debuts, received four Grammy Award® nominations, graced the cover of Rolling Stone twice, and made history more than once. His debut single “Hustlin’” became the “first mastertone ever certified RIAA platinum before the associated album had been released.” He sold millions of singles and albums and cemented his status as one of rap’s biggest and brashest voices. Moreover, he founded Maybach Music Group home to Meek Mill, Wale, and more. Signing to Epic Records in 2016, his “untouchable” streak continues with the impending release of his ninth full-length Rather You Than Me.

RICKY REED RELEASES NEW SONG “BE THE 1” OUT NOW VIA EPIC RECORDS

(January 27, 2017 – New York, NY) – Acclaimed artist and GRAMMY®-nominated, multi-platinum producer/songwriter Ricky Reed has released his new solo song “Be the 1” today on Epic Records. “Be the 1,” which premiered on Idolator, dives into a soulful groove accented by deep drums, buoyant synths and Ricky’s falsetto and showcases his flair for an indelible melody. “Be the 1,” from Ricky’s forthcoming album due out later this year, continues to peel back the layers of his solo artistry. As one of the music industry’s hottest and most sought-after producers/songwriters, Ricky has been helping other artists tell their stories. Now having found the love of his life, standing on the precipice of fatherhood, and brimming with a refreshed creative energy, he is ready to start telling his own story.

The recent release of his autobiographical song “Express Myself” ushered in a more vulnerable side of Ricky and marked his return to his artist roots for the first time since 2013 after the success of Wallpaper. and a huge year dominating multiple charts and radio formats as executive producer and songwriter for Meghan Trainor, twenty one pilots, Phantogram, Fitz and the Tantrums, Lizzo, Pussy Riot, D.R.A.M., DJ Snake, Dej Loaf and more, culminating in a 2017 GRAMMY® nomination for Producer of the Year. Inspired by his personal journey from artist to producer and back again, “Express Myself” found him reflecting on the importance of living one’s truth in the face of obstacles and doubt. The song made an immediate splash with a feature on Spotify’s New Music Friday while Entertainment Weekly recommended it on their Fall playlist, Uproxx proclaimed it, “Insanely catchy,” and Idolator wrote, “This feels more like a rebirth than a resumption.”

As the force behind an impressive list of chart-topping songs, Ricky executive produced and co-wrote Meghan Trainor’s album Thank You (including smash singles “NO” and “Me Too”) and Phantogram’s album Three (including hit lead single “You Don’t Get Me High Anymore”). He helmed eight songs on twenty one pilots’ platinum album Blurryface, including the inescapable #1 smash “Ride,” as well as Fitz and the Tantrums’ “Handclap,” Pitbull’s “Fireball,” and Fifth Harmony’s “Bo$$” and Jason Derulo’s “Talk Dirty” and his forthcoming single “Swa Lah” featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign. His fresh approach to pop and diverse production projects have garnered praise from the likes of Mashable, EW, Vulture, SPIN, People, The Fader and more. Ricky also founded his own label Nice Life Recording Company, which recently released Pussy Riot’s xxx EP in conjunction with Dave Sitek’s Federal Prism and Big Deal Music as well as Lizzo’s Coconut Oil EP under Atlantic Records. Now Ricky embarks on the anticipated next chapter in his expansive and celebrated career.
