Kat Dahlia Announces East Coast Tour

Rising star KAT DAHLIA has announced that she’s hitting the road to celebrate the release of her new single “Crazy,” produced by Glass John and available at all DSPs on February 18th. The critically acclaimed “Gangsta” singer-songwriter will headline a nine-city tour of intimate east coast venues, kicking off February 17th at World Café Live in Philadelphia, PA and wrapping up on March 4th at Masquerade-Purgatory Stage in Atlanta, GA. For tickets and more information, please visit katdahlia.com.

In anticipation for the launch of her tour, KAT DAHLIA’s lyric video for “Crazy” will be featured on VEVO’s homepage on January 21st with 5.5 million impressions, followed by VEVO’s exclusive world premiere of the music video for “Crazy,” directed by Rankin (Miley Cyrus, Future, Azealia Banks), on February 18th.

A natural-born storyteller beloved by fans for her relatable lyrics, KAT DAHLIA is a galvanizing live performer who has wowed audiences worldwide from New York to Amsterdam and Berlin to Bogota with her powerfully raw, stripped down sets backed only by guitar and keys. Indeed, she quickly made a name for herself in early 2013 when she burst onto the scene with her buzzworthy autobiographical single “Gangsta.” The video scored nearly 9 million VEVO views and the song won enthusiastic praise from celebs such as Timbaland, who calls her “this generation’s Nina Simone,” and Ed Sheeran, who Tweeted, simply: “Kat Dahlia. Amazing.”

As she prepares to hit the road for her first headlining tour, accolades continue to pour in for KAT DAHLIA. The face of the winter 2014 cover of YRB magazine and recently featured in an MTV “Artists to Watch” segment, she also appeared in fashion spreads in the September 2013 issues of InStyle and Latina, and her songs “Gangsta,” “Mirror” and “Money Party” have been featured in episodes of VH1’s Black Ink Crew season two and the third season of VH1’s Love and Hip-Hop.
