Cher Lloyd & Fifth Harmony Make Billboards "21 Under 21" List 2013

Billboard just unveiled its annual "21 Under 21" list and we are excited to announce that our girls Cher Lloyd and Fifth Harmony made this year's list! Read why made the list below:

Why Cher's Hot: After a 2012 that saw her single "Want U Back" hit No. 12 on the Hot 100, Cher Lloyd's been plugging away in the studio all year, readying her forthcoming sophomore album. With the follow-up (to be released through Epic) to 2012’s "Sticks + Stones" set is tentatively scheduled for a November release, the 20-year-old has already released a few singles this year. Her June "It's All Good" collaboration with singer-songwriter Ne-Yo for Unilever's Fruttare ice cream bars dropped. This week LLoyd released the video for her new T.I.-assisted single, an up-tempo jam named "I Wish." Though she’s currently headlining her "I Wish" tour with supporting act Fifth Harmony, Lloyd’s clearly anxious for fans to taste what she’s cooking up next. "I've really opened up," Lloyd recently told Billboard. "I've written songs about things people wouldn't dream of knowing about me. It's a big step and I'm kind of nervous to let people listen to it, because they're going to know a lot more about me."

Why Fifth Harmony's Hot: Formed under the blessing of Simon Cowell on last year's "X Factor," Fifth Harmony's brief career so far is on the fast track for success. Their triumphant debut single "Miss Movin On," produced by the Suspex (the duo behind Demi Lovato's "Heart Attack"), became the first track from an American "X Factor" alumni to break the Hot 100, peaking at No. 76. The song samples a debut EP expected Oct. 22 via Epic Records/Syco Music. In the meantime, the quintet is on tour with Cher Lloyd and was recently featured in Disney's "Next Big Thing" series.
