DEBUT SINGLES “GIRLS” AND “HIGH LIKE YOU”

AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE JULY 20

17-YEAR-OLD SINGER/SONGWRITER TO PERFORM DEBUT RELEASE SHOW AT El REY THEATRE JULY 25
(June 29, 2018 — Los Angeles, CA) — Newly signed Epic Records’ singer/songwriter AJ Mitchell makes his major label debut with two new songs released today, “Girls” and “High Like You.” Both tracks are featured on AJ’s forthcoming Epic Records debut EP, Hopeful, scheduled for release on July 20! Get “Girls” HERE and “High Like You” HERE!

The infectious “Girls” sweeps you up in its booming undertow of 80s-evoking synths and up-to-the-minute bounce, propelled by Mitchell’s flirtatious crescendos of pop/R&B swag. Of the percolating “Girls,” AJ says, “I want people to dance and be able to relate to my music. Girls give me a lot to write about,” he jokes. The island swoon of “High Like You” serves as the perfect counterpart to AJ’s dual launch, the 17-year-old tendering a hypnotic vocal that pulls the listener into the song’s soothing rhythms. With an upcoming video in the works for “Girls,” AJ’s calendar is filled with promotional events leading up to the July 20 EP release, with a special performance slated for Arthur Ashe’s Kids Day on August 25 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in flushing, NY. AJ will also be celebrating the release of his Hopeful EP with an official LA showcase performance at the El Rey Theatre on July 25.

Hailing from Bellville, Illinois, he gravitated towards music at an early age, sharing his talent on social media with acclaimed short form videos and cover versions. He initially posted videos to get feedback ‘from other people than my parents,’ he says, but at thirteen his following blossomed. He moved to Los Angeles, CA, in 2016 to pursue a music career full-time, releasing the self-penned, bittersweet single “Used To Be” in 2017. Other songs followed, “Somebody,” and “Mind,” showcasing his multifaceted range and silky vocal style all his own. Epic Records signed AJ to a recording contract to kick off 2018, a dream come true. With over 35 million streams under his belt, and heady live notches already on his resume like sold out performances at both the legendary Roxy in Los Angeles where Prince once performed (one of the first artists his parents every played for him) and at Webster Hall in New York, AJ is ready for even bigger heights. He views the aptly titled Hopeful EP as a reflection of the determination it’s taken to get this far, and the generational optimism he feels along with his peers about the future. “I guess being Hopeful has kind of been an idea in my whole journey in music so far,” he says. “I started to notice my friends are all pursuing dreams; acting, singing, dancing, politics, doing stuff on social media. Kids are having a voice and people are paying attention. And well…I think it started as hoping people would be into the covers I was posting. Then I was Hopeful that people would like my music, come see me play live, and sing along to my lyrics. Putting out this music is something I’ve been Hopeful about for a while. I’m just so excited to share it with my fans and everyone.”

GLOBAL SUPERSTAR MEGHAN TRAINOR ANNOUNCES TITLE OF HIGHLY ANTICIPATED THIRD ALBUM TREAT MYSELF, AVAILABLE AUGUST 31ST

(June 21, 2018 — Los Angeles, CA) — After months of building anticipation and fueling excitement, GRAMMY® Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Meghan Trainor will release her third full-length album entitled, TREAT MYSELF [Epic Records], on August 31st, 2018. Pre-order goes live today and unlocks instant grat downloads of the scorching songs “LET YOU BE RIGHT,” “CAN’T DANCE,” and “NO EXCUSES” as well as a brand new track “ALL THE WAYS.” Pre-order it HERE!

Earlier this week, Meghan heralded the announcement on social media, detailing “a big surprise” on her Elvis Duran and the Morning Show interview. The next day, she appeared on the program and unveiled the title and release date, taking to social media right after to personally share the artwork.

About TREAT MYSELF, Meghan said, “This album is my best work yet and I’m so proud of what we made. I say “we” because I made this entire album with my family, my friends, and my fiancé. It’s everything I stand for and I’m excited to put an upbeat happy album out for the world.”

Following the release of “NO EXCUSES,” “CAN’T DANCE” and current radio single “LET YOU BE RIGHT,” “ALL THE WAYS” spotlights another side of TREAT MYSELF. It’s another massive and melodic Meghan Trainor anthem and will soundtrack a new marketing campaign for Target, launching June 24. The campaign highlights the retailer’s new fulfillment services, like same-day delivery with Shipt and Drive up, to show guests all the ways they can shop at Target.

A pre-order is live now for the Target Exclusive version of the album, including exclusive remixes of “ALL THE WAYS.” Fans can purchase it at Target.com. This marks the second partnership between Meghan and Target. In 2016, they joined forces to release a Target Exclusive of her second album Thank You.

Right now, Meghan is everywhere! Tonight, you can catch her on a new episode of The Four on Fox 8/7c. Saturday, her seismic Radio Disney Music Awards performance airs on the Disney Channel. Earlier this month, she hit the stage at The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on CBS to perform “LET YOU BE RIGHT,” and opened the Today Show’s summer concert series. Monday June 25, she co-hosts Today alongside Hoda Kotb in the morning and guests on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that evening.

Grammy-Award winning singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Meghan Trainor emerged with her 2014 breakout single “All About That Bass” and disrupted contemporary music with nostalgic pop beats and powerhouse vocals that delivered a worldwide anthem for female empowerment. Trainor cemented her rising status as one of the most prominent artists in popular music by charting seven multi-platinum singles, releasing two platinum albums, selling out three headline tours, writing multi-platinum hits for top pop and country artists, and receiving countless industry awards and nominations worldwide. She is one of only five female artists to receive a diamond certification for her hit single “All About That Bass” which shares the RIAA Gold & Platinum Awards top honor with only 15 other singles in history.

CAMILA CABELLO RELEASES NEW VERSION OF PLATINUM SELLING, “NEVER BE THE SAME,” FEATURING KANE BROWN

‘CAMILA’ SURPASSES ONE BILLION STREAMS AND IS FIRST ALBUM OF 2018 TO BE CERTIFIED PLATINUM

“HAVANA” CERTIFIED 5X PLATINUM

(April 27, 2018 — Los Angeles, CA) — Global chart-topping singer/songwriter Camila Cabello has joined forces with multi-platinum-selling country breakout artist Kane Brown to release a new version of Camila’s growing smash hit “Never Be The Same.” The genre-crossing track is out today and already setting social media ablaze. Listen HERE!

The stunning collaboration combines each artist’s unique star power that separately has propelled them to the top of multiple charts. Both artists are currently surging with Top 5 singles – Brown with his stirring ballad “Heaven,” and Camila with the platinum-plus initial release of “Never Be The Same.” Last month Camila released the sultry video for the hit song, which you can watch HERE. It is the second single from her recently-crowned platinum debut album, CAMILA, the first album of 2018 to be certified platinum. The song is currently #2 at Top 40 Radio, with Rolling Stone hailing it as ‘Camila Cabello at her best, even at her most tormented…’. Genre-busting Brown deftly lends his “viscous and rich, low and wide” (NY Times) vocals to the new track.

Today’s release continues Camila’s culture-bridging domination of the pop landscape. Her sold-out headline “Never Be the Same Tour” winds down its North America trek in the next week with a slate of Canadian and east coast U.S. shows on tap before heading overseas in June. Soon after, Camila will join Taylor Swift this summer on the star’s eagerly awaited Reputation tour. Last week, Camila added to her growing list of industry accolades, receiving four 2018 Billboard Music Award nominations: Top New Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Collaboration, and a Billboard Chart Achievement nod. Along with her nominations, she will also perform live on the Billboard Awards, which will air Sunday, May 20th at 5pm PST/8pm EST on NBC.

Camila’s triumphant cross-country trek is buoyed by her record-setting debut album which topped the charts in the U.S. and around the world. CAMILA debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Albums chart the same week her enduring mega-hit “Havana” (featuring Young Thug) reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. She is the first female artist in 15 years to simultaneously lock down her first #1 on both charts in the same week. Last week “Havana” was certified 5X platinum by the RIAA, continuing its unprecedented stature as one of the pinnacle breakthrough hits of recent memory. “Havana” had the longest run at #1 on Billboard’s Top 40 Radio chart in 5 years in addition to holding #1 for 5 weeks in the UK (The British Sunday Times hailed Camila as ‘the biggest pop star in the world’), the longest running female #1 single on the British charts since Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’ in 2011. Camila has truly become a global phenomenon, with her self-titled debut notching the #1 spot on iTunes in 100 countries, breaking the record for most iTunes #1 peaks for a debut album, male or female. Camila has also turned the streaming world upside down, setting record Spotify numbers with multiple hits, surpassing a billion streams with CAMILA and totaling more than 2 billion Spotify streams overall to become the 37th most streamed artist of all-time.

Breakthrough country star Kane Brown broke onto the scene and topped the Billboard Top Country Albums for 11-weeks with his platinum-selling self-titled debut effort, earning him the best new artist country debut of the past three years and setting a record as the only artist in Billboard history to simultaneously top all five Country charts. A three-time Billboard Award nominee and double Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) nominee this year, Brown’s current single, the Platinum-selling “Heaven,” is quickly rising (Top 5) at Country radio. “Heaven” has held the #1 slot for 7 weeks on Nielsen’s On Demand Audio Core Country Streaming chart and is Brown’s third track to achieve Platinum or Multi-Platinum certification. “Heaven” follows Brown’s ACM nominated, breakthrough #1 multi-platinum single “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina, which was 2018’s #1 most-streamed country song. The 24-year-old singer/songwriter has garnered over 1 billion on-demand audio and video streams including 81 million views for “Heaven,” available HERE. Brown continues to break records– from his Chapter 1 EP (2016) which was the highest-debuting country EP of the Nielsen SoundScan era to his #1 debut album Kane Brown, which became the sole country album released since December 2016 to receive RIAA Platinum certification status and the only country album to achieve 11 weeks at #1 in the same time period.

Camila’s sold out “Never Be The Same Tour” continues with shows in Toronto and Montreal this weekend, then heads on to Boston on April 29th, Philadelphia on May 1st, and New York City on May 4th, with shows scheduled in the UK and Amsterdam for early June.
