FRENCH MONTANA LAUNCHES TWO NEW SONGS “UNFORGETTABLE” & “NO PRESSURE”
(April 7, 2017 – New York, NY) – Coke Boys Music / Bad Boy Entertainment / Epic Records’ Grammy nominated, worldwide platinum-selling hip-hop icon, and philanthropist French Montana launches two new hit songs “Unforgettable (feat Swae Lee)” and “No Pressure (feat Future)” now available on all streaming platforms.
French found the inspiration for his upcoming “Unforgettable” music video after watching a dance video of Uganda’s Triplets Ghetto Kids on Youtube. The kids’ joyous street dancing inspired French to travel to his motherland of Africa to witness their moves up close and personal. While there, he was completely moved and energized by them as they showed him around their village, reminding him of his childhood growing up in Morocco, North Africa before he moved to New York with his family at the age of 13.
The poignant return to his motherland in Africa is underscored by French’s strong connection to the Triplets Ghetto Kids, and to the emotional crowds of Kampala locals who embraced him on his journey. The pure joy they take in their music and dancing transcends the extreme poverty of the region. The entire project, now the subject of a deeply uplifting documentary film as well, also pays homage to French’s parents, who’s wedding day photograph in Morocco graces the “Unforgettable” track cover artwork.

French Montana is one of the most prolific and instantly recognizable players in the game today – with some 300 lead and feature appearances on singles, album and mixtape tracks and videos. His signing to the new Bad Boy Entertainment/Epic Records partnership was jointly announced by Mr. L.A. Reid and Bad Boy founder Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. French Montana is managed by SAL&CO/Maverick.
Atlanta Rap Hero Future on Making Chart History and Kicking It With ‘Superstar Females’
The Atlanta rap god Future, like other gods before him, is known by many names. He was born Nayvadius Wilburn into a family of street hustlers going back at least two generations. As a kid he picked up the moniker Meathead, both for his oversize dome and, later, his general gangster toughness. When he began rapping in his teens at his cousin Rico Wade’s Dungeon studio — where OutKast was busy reinventing hip-hop — he was given the name Future (as in “the future of music,” which is kind of mind-blowing, coming from a place making tunes like “So Fresh, So Clean”). And to his friends he’s mostly known as Pluto, which is all at once the title of his 2012 major-label debut, a metaphor for getting supremely high and a symbol of the scale of his ambitions. “I’m the astronaut kid,” he says, impassive behind a pair of ever-present sunglasses. “At the end of the day, I’m out of here — above anything.”
The previous week, Future had surprised fans with the self-titled album (his sixth, not counting the hit packed mixtapes he has released through his own Freebandz label), which landed at No. 1, becoming his fourth consecutive album to do so. Then, in a move unprecedented in chart history, HNDRXX arrived just seven days later and replaced Future in the top spot. (Epic Records says the two albums will also be combined into a physical release later this year.) Future’s clearly pleased with the success but insists that he values authenticity more than numbers. “If I’m the biggest artist in the world, cool, but I want to just be me,” he says. “I want my money to be different. I’m not trying to have rapper money. My goal is to be able to get everything from the world that I can get.”
(March 17, 2017 – Los Angeles, CA) Award-winning multiplatinum pop powerhouse and one of TIME’s “30 Most Influential Teens of 2016,” Zara Larsson unveils her anxiously awaited full-length album, SO GOOD [Epic Records/Ten], today. Upon going live, it soared to the Top 10 of iTunes Overall Top Albums Chart. Get it HERE.
Among its 15 anthems, the record boasts the red hot new single and title track, “So Good” [feat. Ty Dolla $ign]. Returning to the stage at Ellen with Ty, Zara delivered an unforgettable performance of the song in February.
The international pop maverick continues to attract widespread tastemaker and critical applause as well. Entertainment Weekly crowned her, “Pop’s fearless new voice,” while in its review of the album, The Guardian claimed, “She’s like a Rihanna-doting teen gatecrashing a tropical house party, gun fingers blazing, and sugar-soaked songs that have more than 1bn Spotify streams.” Refinery29 put it best: “Zara Larsson has released some of the best pop tunes in recent memory.”
Next week, Zara engages a full-scale television takeover. She performs on Good Morning America March 22, Wendy Williams March 23, The Late Late Show with James Corden April 4, and Live with Kelly! April 20. Be sure to tune in!
Extending her influence into the world of fashion, Zara also debuts her H&M Capsule collection in select stores and online March 18. Check it out HERE.
Later this month, Zara hits the road with English electronic outfit Clean Bandit beginning March 31 in Seattle, WA. The tour rolls through major markets across the U.S. before wrapping up May 2 in Chicago, IL. See the full itinerary below.
With an impressive vocal range, effusive energy, and classic je ne sais quoi, 19-year-old Zara Larsson has quietly become the face of 21st century pop music worldwide. Born and raised in Sweden, she landed two back-to-back multiplatinum smashes during 2015 in the form of the RIAA double-platinum “Never Forget” with MNEK and the platinum-certified “Lush Life.” She landed on TIME’s coveted “30 Most Influential Teens of 2016” list, while joining the “BILLIONS Club” on Spotify. On the road, she closed the UEFA Euro 2016 with David Guetta and shared the stage with Beyoncé for the European leg of the Formation Tour. Following an explosive performance at the MTV EMAs, she received “Best New Act” and “Best Swedish Act.” Along the way, Glamour, InStyle, WWD, Cosmopolitan, Nylon, and more have sung her praises.
